Removed people from photos still show up

I removed people from my Photos application so there are only 18 people remaining, however when I upload pictures to any platform, every "people profile" (including typo ones) I've ever created shows up under the Media>Photos>Albums>People folder. Is there a way to delete these? I can't find the Media>Photos>Albums>People folder in my finder. There are over 100 profiles for people that I haven't talked to in years and have no need for an album.

Hey goguma94,

I see that you have a number of people in the People album, and you're looking to remove some of these albums. I'll be happy to help out.

You can remove a person by clicking People in the sidebar as you have already done in the screenshot, then do one of the following to remove a person:

  • Control-click the person, then choose Remove This Person. Click Remove from People Album.
  • Double-click the person, then scroll down and click Remove from People Album.

Have a great day.
