Removing Linkedin Contacts from your iPhone, iCloud and Mac Computer

Removing Linkedin Contacts from your iPhone, iCloud and Mac Computer

I discovered if you open your contacts on your mac computer. you can filter the linkedin imported contacts. To either remove them or add your "normal" contacts to a New Group.

File>New Smart Group>

On the form: Card> does not contain> "linkedin"

This will create a group of contacts that do not have a linkedin profile name. You can make a new icloud group and select all and drag these contacts into the new icloud group.

You can reverse this and make a smart group showing all the linkedin contacts.

Hope this helps someone else.

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

  1. How many Contacts account (email client server) you have?
  2. What is your default Contacts Account?
  3. Which email account you are using to store Contacts?

  • See the GIF below for Contacts and Default Account

  • Learn how to add an email account and make it default (Watch the GIF)
  • This example is for Gmail but the process remains same for all Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
