How to make entering contacts on iCloud less painful?

The Contacts editing screen in iCloud.com is awful - the editing fields are super-skinny and don't take up the whole screen with a ton of wasted space, the font is super-large, which makes the entire process truly painful.

Is there a way to customize the user interface? Shrink the font, enlarge the usable screen real estate, etc.?

If not, is there some kind of app front-end that can hook into iCloud and that one can use for data entry?

Thanks for any tips that can make this process less annoying!

While there isn't a way to customize the input fields at iCloud.com, I recommend trying to use another web browser or another device to access iCloud.com to see if the fields appear larger there.

Thank you.

Have tried it on multiple browsers and it's really a very unsatisfactory experience on all.

Why Apple can't simply make the data input columns wider is really baffling, especially since a good portion of the screen is unused.

Really strange for a company that is normally so good at thinking about the user experience.
