Why can't I see my iTunes Balance on my Apple TV App

I am running the Apple TV App on my Roku. I am signed in with my Apple ID. It shows m subscriptions and shows from the iTunes Apple store I have purchased in the past. Why doesn't it show my available balance in the Apple TV App? I have $20 balance in iTunes and I thought I would be able to use that balance to rent movies on the Apple TV App. However, it only allows me to use the credit card on my account. I have a boat load of gift cards from Christmas, but I can't use them. Please help!!

TIA,

Mark

Hello agentfox1942,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand a balance is not appearing on the Apple TV app for Roku. I'll explain why this might be happening.

You can only view your balance on the devices mentioned here: View your Apple ID balance

The best thing to do is try renting or buying the item from a device with iTunes to use your balance. It should then appear in the Apple TV app.

Best regards.
