Updating Pages v.3.0.3

Hi!

I have not used Pages for a long time and now discovered I have a really old version 3.0.3. I seem to have trouble updating it. App store does not offer this update and if I try to get it through Apple website I just see the wheel turning and nothing happening.

Would you be able to advice me on how I can get the update as I can't open new Pages documents?

Thank you!

Pages '08 v3.0.3 is the last available version for Pages '08, and it was discontinued by Apple in early 2009 when it was replaced by Pages '09, itself discontinued in Oct 2013. Apple does not retail either product, nor maintain full downloads of these installers on its website, or Apple Store.

The only upgrade path to the current version of Pages (v8.2.1) in the Mac App Store is if you have a Mac that can be upgraded to macOS Mojave 10.14.6, or Catalina 10.15.3. These operating systems are a prerequisite for downloading the current Pages application from the Mac App Store. The documents created by the current Pages application are incompatible with Pages '08, unless you export to Word or RTF.

From the menu : About This Mac, check the Mac product description line, and in particular, the date in parenthesis. That model year will determine your hardware compatibility for an upgrade to Mojave, or Catalina. Only 64-bit applications, and printer/scanner drivers that are compatible with Catalina will work there. That excludes the 32-bit Pages '08 that you presently have.
