sidecar connection
When trying to connect my iPad Pro as sidecar to my iMac 2019, I get the message "failed due to time out". The machines are on the same net, both are upgraded and bluetooth are enabled on both. Any suggestions?
iPad, iOS 9

I don't know if Sidecar works in safe mode but I would give that a try, there may be some third party software preventing it Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support
Other than that I'm out of ideas, maybe time to contact Apple Support.
Does the problem happen wirelessly and using a usb cable?

Hi Mike
Thanks for reply. I have checked everything is as you mention, but the Ipad is still disconnected after a few seconds with the errormessage "disconnected due to timeout"

Resat SMC on iMac, tried both wireless and USB (Lightning) cable. Still same negative result
