iPad 10.2 Inch keyboard issues

I purchased the 10.2 inch iPad (MW742LL/A) as well as 3 different Bluetooth keyboard that all said were compatible with this iPad. However, each one has had certain keys that do not type anything onto the iPad (they don’t work). Anyone have experience with this? I updated the iPad to the latest firmware and still no luck.

I encourage you to be specific about the exact keys which do not work, since it can make a huge difference in what has to be done to fix the problem

The place to check are Settings > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > Mouse Keys (under Pointing Devices). If turned on, certain keys do not create letters.
