why does my mac book pro keep zooming randomly

Sometimes when a user double taps the trackpad inadvertently this may happen if SmartZoom is enabled.

System Preferences > Trackpad > Scroll & Zoom > Smart Zoom.

Uncheck and recheck it.

brand-new MacBook Air Zooming in and out for no reason?? My previous MacBooks were doing the same thing. I am doing nothing; suddenly, my screen zooms in and out so fast multiple times.
