Lost pin of old iPhone 4, how to get in?

It has come to this, I have lost all my music library but it's on my very old iPhone 4. After searching for it, finally found it but it's asking for passcode. The passcode I thought it should be is not working.

It first locked me out for 1 minute after failed attempt, then 5 minutes and now 15 minutes and I guess it will keep going up.

Researching, I saw a youtube video how to get in but that method erases the data which I don't want.

What can I do to get in?

That is the only way to get in is to restore the device to remove the passcode. Your music library should be on your computer, and there should be a backup of that as well. If this is music that you purchased from iTunes, you can download it again as well. There is no way for you to get into an iPhone that you have forgotten the passcode for except to wipe it.

Unfortunately I have been using online music like spotify for many years and although I still have my Macbook Air 2011 which is what I used to sync with this iPhone, can't find the music on it.

This mac had 128 GB hardisk and at one time I took backups to free space so probably I moved music elsewhere but can't find the music on all my usb sticks, I seem to have messed up somehow.

Can I used this mac somehow to get in the iPhone? I did changed the hard drive to 240 GB but I haven't formatted the disk, I used system recover.

The annoying thing is iPhone keep doubling the lockout time after just ONE failed attempt to enter passcode! Now its at 1 hour.
