While I'm talking on the phone, my face rubs up against the screen, pushing buttons, hanging up the call, or placing the call on mute. What can I do to stop this from happening. This occurs whether I used a screen protector or not. tec

If the screen of your phone is not going black when you hold it up to your face and you've removed any screen protectors or cases that may be interfering with the proximity sensor, you may have a hardware issue. You can double check by making a call then putting your hand over the top of the phone. Does the screen go black? If not, make arrangements to have the phone evaluated.

I see from your post that while you are talking on the iPhone, your face rubs against the screen and pushes buttons or hangs up on the call. I want to help. If you have a case on the iPhone, apart from the screen protector, remove it and test to see if the issue persists.
Also, is your iPhone updated? If not, make sure that you update. It’s a good idea to backup your iPhone before updating.
