Can’t Assign photo to contact

I have a problem in assigning photo to contact!!

sometimes it assigned once and then not appear as a full screen photo, it appears just a thumbnail beside the name of caller

Tried the method through Photos app but with having the picture in mind cropped to Square, and photo still comes up as a thumbnail. If anyone has any tips that I haven't listed, I would really love to hear them. I'm getting frustrated that, even with a new model phone, I can't customize it to my preferred experience.

Contact photo not full screen on 12 pro max Hello, contact photo was full screen for the first call only, after that it keeps showing as thumbnail. I tried three different photos nothing works also no syncing with google and called apple support they were no help. My mum has 13 pro max and it shows as full screen just fine whether its FaceTime or phone call.

When you assign a photo for a contact, you'll see a round photo appear for each of your contacts. That is expected behavior in iOS 13. You're welcome to provide feedback to Apple by visiting: Product Feedback - Apple
