Remove favourite folder in file how?

To remove a folder from the Favourites category within the Files App, you must first find the folder name in the main (right hand) pane of the open Files App.

When you find the folder that you wish to remove from Favourites, touch-and-hold on the name of the folder; an Action Menu will appear.

From the Action Menu, select the Unfavourite option; this will remove the folder from the Favourites category - but leave the folder otherwise intact. If you wish to totally delete the folder itself, select the Delete option (highlighted in red) from the Action Menu.

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
