Sync iPhone 11

I have a new iPhone 11. I want to sync it on my laptop via iTunes. How do I do this? iTunes doesn't recognize my phone.

First off, we will assume you downloaded the latest iTunes version.

When you plug the phone to the computer with iTunes running already, the phone will ask whether to authorize the computer before any connection is made.

Make sure you get iTunes from https://apple.com/iTunes. While there is a version in the Microsoft store it does not include the drivers required to connect to iOS devices. It is a standalone version only.

What kind of laptop, Mac or PC?

What operating system is it running?

What version of iTunes?

What exactly happens when you plug in the iPhone to the laptop?

How are you plugging it in? Are you using an Adapter?
