I am trying to install the Compass app on my Apple Watch Series 3 and I get a message "required iPhone" and no further instructions. The Compass app is installed on my iPhone.
Please suggest a way to get the app to work on my watch.

I believe you need a Series 5 Apple Watch to use the compass app.

Thanks but when I check the Compatibility section of the App Information of the App in App Store, it says it is "Works on this Apple Watch"! Hence the confusion
The software company is telling the truth but only part of it.
