Then you'll want to make sure you each have your own, separate iCloud Account moving forward.

Y’all are likely and ill-advisedly sharing one Apple ID. This is one of many ways that y’all’ll get tangled together, too. Switch to your own Apple IDs, and then consider enabling Family Sharing for apps and photos.
