Why does my iPhone have 24 gb of “other”?

How do I get rid of this?

The best way to get rid of "other" is to backup your iPhone and restore it from backup. There are two ways to do this. Use iCloud or your home computer with iTunes. iTunes is often the best method as it puts a fresh copy of iOS on your phone in the process.

Honestly, I haven’t really had success with iTunes or even iCloud backup in a long time. The last few times I have tried to use iTunes and iCloud backup, I ended up losing all of my memory and photos because the backup wouldn’t work for whatever reason. (Once it was locked with a password I had never set, and another time it just wouldn’t load onto my phone.) Is there anything else I can do?

It’s all right y’all, I fixed the issue. I cleared out my tabs and that reduced the gb greatly. I still have about 5gb in other, but I think that’s just from old messages.

I could probably just bite the bullet at some point and pay for extra storage on iCloud, as that would most likely work, but at this point I’m not concerned.

Thank you for your time.
