My iPhone got consumed by “other”

I called Apple tech support because my storage is filling up even while I’m deleting things and not adding anything.

I learned that my “other” grew to 46.78 GB, and actively closing in on any space I try to free up. I tried clearing safari website data and everything else the online articles suggested. I’ve been struggling for the past 2 days to get my storage down. I’ve deleted lots of video and photos, all my apps including Instagram, and my storage is still full.

Apple tech support told me that they need me to be near a computer to resolve it. I do not have a computer, or access to a computer. How do I fix this? I cannot even edit and post my existing photos and videos. How do I at least move forward with editing and posting my existing stuff so I can delete it?

Wow, you do have problems.

Do you have an iCloud backup? If you do you can try restoring from that backup, or follow this and set it up as a completely new device: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Or try the restore from iCloud as described in this article: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
