MacBook Pro 16 inch and Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers?

I have just got my MacBook Pro 16 inch and was wondering if it is possible to connect my existing Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers? Is there an adapter available and would all 5 speakers and the sub work?

Maybe....I assume you're talking about the newest 16" MacBook Pro, from, say, this year.

the one with 4 thunderbolt 3 ports on it, yes ??

your speaker set supports analog, but not digital. The only audio outputs on it would either be the headphone jack or a USB 3 using one of the Thunderbolt ports. You'd need a USB-C adapter first. I don't know of any Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C external soundcards, or adapters, at least ones that support 5.1 sound. There are a few out there, that work with Mac and have a usb (and analog) input. Creative Omni External soundcard was the only one I could find that said it supported Mac for sure (and Windows of course).

You could maybe try getting one of those generic USB soundcards from China, which technically might work, in theory, but practially, I don't know. anyways, I've enclosed a link, if you want to take a look.....

If you were content with stereo, there are cheap usb-C audio adapters, with just stereo out and a microphone socket.

anyways, that's all I could find
