iPad will not connected

Hi my iPad will not connect but the WiFi sigh is on the screen will not log on just says contact yourself for help

That is not a wi-fi problem, that is an activation problem. Connect the iPad to your computer running the latest version of iTunes and attempt activate there. If you can't activate your iPhone - Apple Support

What is the exact text of the error? Are you saying it is telling you to contact Apple?
