Videos sent from Android text message have no sound

I have an iPhone 11. When my sister, who has an android, send me videos she’s recorded on her phone, the video comes through but not the sound. Is there a way she can send these to me so I can hear the sound, too? When she sends them to me on Snapchat, I can hear the videos through headphones. But that’s been the only way so far.
