So my daughter has an Apple phone (which I pay for by the way). She sends a video via text to me with no issue. I try to send the video on via text to someone else & get an error message that the video is too long. We are on the same update... What gives Apple??!

There are many possible explanations. One is the person you are sending this to does not have an iPhone, meaning a completely separate transmission method is involved.

In fact I just tried to send it back to my daughter… Still get the same message.
OK. Hopefully each person has her/his own, unique Apple ID.
You are likely using Mail Drop for this very large attachment.
Sending it to my husband and son who are all iPhone users… we all on the same plan even.
