Back camera and flash is not working

Hi

The back camera and the flash of my iPhone 8 is not working. When I open the camera app, I got a black screen. I can switch to the front camera, and it is working normally.

It’s already for a month now, and I don’t know what to do.

Have any parts of the phone been replaced recently? Or has the phone been dropped?

If not, try to set it back to factory settings without using a backup, to rule out a software issue:

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to factory settings

In case this does not bring back the camera function, the problem is hardware related and the phone has to be serviced.
