as title says, just stuck on black screen, it gets stuck at 'waiting for
iphone' on iTunes restore. the phone sometimes displays the restore
thing with the laptop. on latest ios, any help or ideas on what it could
be hardware wise?

In case setting it back to factory settings does not work, the problem is hardware related.
