Just had an Alphine W650 (iphone option) installed by Best Buy. (excellent job) but will not hook up to iphone 7. I used the parking brake to light up the icon, but will not recognize my already paired for the first time phone. Any suggestions?

If I'm understanding you right, you're having difficulty getting your iPhone to connect to your Alpine iLX-W650 digital receiver. I'd love to give you some steps that might help you get those devices working together.
Based on the Alpine website, that particular model works with CarPlay. Is that the way you're connecting to it? If so, you may want to take a look at the manual for the Alpine iLX-W650 to make sure it's being connected correctly. You can view it here: Alpine iLX-W650 user manual.
