Virus on my iPhone 7 plus

Ive been getting the same pop ups on my IPhone 7. My last one said 29

viruses detected when I was using safari. That download is an app that isn’t free is this a scame? My phone has had a good run but isn’t holding battery and seems to be on its last leg.
