I have recently purchased an iPhone 11 and it won’t let me delete any photos. I have logged on to iCloud via a browser and managed to do it there although this hasn’t sorted it on my phone.
I’ve read online that the only option is to plug the phone in to a computer and delete through iTunes.
Anyone know a way around this?

If the photos were synced using iTunes to device they can not be deleted manually on device only using iTunes and created empty folder in photos and synced to device

Thank you. In the end I reset the phone and synced through iCloud rather than phone to phone which resolved the problems
