Hi, mawiz.

I'm glad you decided to reach out on Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, when you’re on a call and another calls comes in, your iPhone X will automatically merge those calls into a conference call without your direction. Does this sound right?

If so, the first thing I would do is review the guidelines under “Respond to a second call on the same line” on this page: While on a call on iPhone

If none of those explanations apply, make sure that you are updated to the latest version the iOS software. You can check this at Settings > General > Software Update.

Once you are updated, check for a carrier settings update:

If neither of these work for you, try some resets next.

I would start with Reset Network Settings first. This reset will be the least invasive, but you will need to make sure you have your Wi-Fi passwords and any VPN or MDM profiles will need to be reconfigured. The article explains in detail.

Finally, as a last resort, you can restore your iPhone to factory settings using a computer. You’ll want to set it up as a new iPhone after the restore just long enough to test a couple of calls to see if they continue to merge before restoring your backup. You can find instructions for using a computer to restore your iPhone near the bottom of that page.

Hopefully something here helps! If not, contact Apple Support for further guidance.

Good luck and take care!
