Keychain not working on 2019 iPad

My bank password is saved to my MB Air but NOT visible on my iPad.


On hols with my new iPad 2019 and could not log into my bank account. iCloud is turned on in all my apple devices. Surely they all communicate with each other?


I have a list of passwords on both the above but my bank account and a few others cannot be seen on my iPad. Anyone know why? I reiterate that keychain is definitely switched on on both devices including my iPhone.


I am now using Catalina.

In addition to enabling iCloud on all devices (assuming that all devices are logged-in using the same AppleID), you must also explicitly enable Keychain-sync on each device.


On your iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Keychain - set to ON
