Does Macbook Pro 16 Keycap replacement void my warranty

Hello!

I made a mistake and I ordered a Macbook Pro 16 with a Hungarian Layout.

The layout is different compared to the ones that I'm used to UK or US.

Is my warranty and Apple Care+ (that im going to buy) going to be voided If swap out the Y and Z keycaps?

Is there a possiblitity of an authorized technician to replace those keycaps instead of me?

Replacing a Key I broke one of the keys (the clip in particular) of my MacPro 2021. So I went to visit an Apple Support store to have it fixed. However, after the assessment, I was informed that they had to replace the whole keyboard set. So I asked, why? It is just but one key. In addition, I will be charged with approximately $600 for the keyboard plus $50 for the service, and my warranty will be voided. I just bought the unit about two months ago (June 2022). Who would want that? Since I was very determined, they advised me to consult with another Apple support team here in Manila to make sure that the assessment was "correct." But before that even happened, I was able to speak to one of their support teams from Oregon and was informed that the reason that they could not replace that one key was because they didn't have that availability. Apple only sells the whole set. The warranty will be voided because of the limit they provided our country. Then why would they even bother sending me to another support team only to give me the same assessment? I would have wasted my effort just to do that. I just hope that Apple will also come up with a one-key replacement service if there is no other issue other than that. This would also prevent them from tapping the whole thing, which would void the warranty.

Mail in keyboard warranty repair As I live in a rural area and we are still impacted by the endemic, I'd like the opportunity to mail my MacBook Pro to have the keyboard warranty repair done, rather than drop off at an Apple retail store. I live over an hour away from the closest authorized shop & considering I am my elderly mother's caregiver, It's very difficult for me to arrange time away to drop off/pick up this item. My question: has Apple resumed FedEx pick up and drop off for warranty-covered repairs such as the faulty butterfly keyboard? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t worry about that as long as you don't break anything. So you would just change the layout in System Preferences to match the physical switch?

Yeah my plan is to use QWERTY Layout from system preferences and to just swap out Y and Z.

But in the end if this can compromise the warranty of the laptop I would just pick up a different machine with the propper layout. The problem is that I need to wait 2 weeks for the other laptop to arrive.
