Opened Spam Text with a Photo

I opened a spam text thinking it was someone I knew but there was a photo of a woman, evidently it was spam. But I’m wondering if it’s possible I infected my phone or something doing so. I was hoping to block the number but I cannot do so without adding their contact.

I’ve restarted my phone already but idk wha could have happened from this.
