water damage

i have an iphone 11 and i dropped it in the shower... now my facetime and snapchat do not work and my sound is messed up. i thought these phones were water resistant?

Yes, its is splash, water, and dust resistant. Rated IP68 (maximum depth of 4 meters up to 30 minutes) under IEC standard 60529.
