New battery and capacity's dropping

Just had a new battery installed in my mid-2015 (11,4) Macbook Pro 15". When first installed and calibrated, the capacity was showing 8700+ mA. Now after only 12 recharge cycles, it's down to 7600 mA. Does that sound normal?

I would return it to them for review. The problem is that Apple does not sell Apple-branded batteries to consumers. It only sells them to you when they install it in the Store, or if you have an Apple Authorized Service Provider do the work.

This has led to a a virtual black market of counterfeit and sub-standard batteries. Few live up to the performance the original batteries offer.

If the shop was a true Apple Authorized Service Provider, then have them make it right. If they are not an Apple Authorized Service Provider, then I recommend you have them refund your money and seek a source that can provide you with an Apple battery.
