apple music doesn’t show explicit songs

all the restrictions are turned off, so technically i should have no problems with listening to explicit songs. but they just don’t show up when i listen to an album containing them or search specifically for a song. some people who faced the same issue said going to itunes, searching for an explicit song there and purchasing it helped, but for me it won’t even show up

Hello ira_noway,

I understand that music with explicit lyrics aren't showing up in the list to purchase or download. I am happy to help.

Let's make sure this setting wasn't turned off in Restrictions at some point even though you have it enabled now.

To check this, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions at the top and then tap on Content Restrictions. Make sure Music, Podcasts & News is still set to Explicit.

Let me know if that worked for you.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care!
