Hello, i bought a brand new iphone 11 in november from a local store and it is not in my name. So far the phone is still in warranty based as i checked with the IMEI number. My question; do i benefit from the warranty even though the phone is not my name if yes how can i do so?

You can’t check the warranty with the IMEI. However, you can check it with the serial number at this link—>Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
If you take it to Apple you don’t need the receipt for warranty service, they can look up the serial number.

Your warranty is valid if you have the receipt with you. You can check your warranty by going to Settings -> General -> About. You will see in your Limited Warranty section.
