The ipads in our household have suddenly started to come up with “ your iPad is locked for 15 mins . 30: mins or in my case 1 hour “
As you can imagine this is so frustrating. I have looked up on line about it and it appears that it is not something that is new ( although new to us )
When the hour is up I attempt to input the code but it won’t take in...just locks me out again for another hour.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?/
Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.

Try a forced restart.

If necessary

If there are restrictions in Screen Time that are preventing access, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.
If there aren't any Screen Time restrictions, do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

If your computer is running Catalina, connect to Finder.

Thanks for the reply.
Apart from the suggestion that recommended I try another wifi( which isn’t possible..) I have already tried most of the fixes with no luck.
Now the iPad shows (connect to iTunes)
Problem is there is no iTunes anymore !!
So what programme replaces it.?Coz I’m baffled.
My iPad keeps locking up for one hour
