Extend ring time before voicemail

All of the answers to this question are years old and none of them work. I have an iPhone 11 Pro max and it rings for 20 seconds before going to voicemail. This is just enough time to jump up and run to where the phone is but not enough time to actually answer it. All the old answers talk about the *#61 hack but that doesn't work anymore. Am I the only one who wants this or am I the only one who doesn't know that it can't be done?

That wasn't a hack, it is a code that some phone providers use to dial back, It actually started back in landline days before the proliferation of cell service. If you cell service provider doesn't use that code then ask them if they have a code and what it is to return calls. While you are on the phone with them ask them if there is any way to extend the ring time, most don't offer this.
