Carplay looks scrambled in a Mercedes Benz B180 using iPhone X

From time to time, Carplay display looks scrambled, the only way I have found to fix it is by turning off and on my iPhone X. My wife uses her iPhone 8 without problem. I think it is related with IOS SW. Is there any definitive solution for that?

Your iPhone is trying to load the new widescreen/fullscreen view of CarPlay. Mercedes in car entertainment systems advertise themselves to the phones as capable of showing this widescreen/fullscreen version of CarPlay when indeed the firmware of your Mercedes doesn't actually know how to display it. A firmware/platform update from your local MB dealer will resolve the issue.

They should not charge you for this and I do believe that there is a TSB for an issue very similar to this with Android phones.

Not sure that is the problem, with iPhone 8 works fine. If I turn off and on my iPhone X, problem disappear for some days. Seems more like an IOS problem.

Fine by me.
