When I convert fractions to percentages in Numbers, the decimal is in the wrong place.
Example:
When trying to convert 1/6 to a percent, the percent calculation reads 0.167% instead of 16.7%.
Does anyone know how to correct this?
I have tried clicking the decimals tab on the left hand side, and it is still not correcting what I am trying to do.

Perhaps you can share what you've entered and what you have tried.
If I were going to do this I would do the following:
1) enter the formula "=1/6" this will appear in the formula editor like this "1÷6" the the forward slap is displayed as an obelus
2) selection the cell where you just entered the formula and format the cell as "Percent":
now select the cell and choose from the cell "Data Format" pop-up:

0.167 (without the percent sign) is the same value as 16.7%
The difference between them is simply a matter of formatting, as Wayne has noted.
