generating content to print

Hi.

When trying to print emails with the Mac Mail app I get this message:

generating content to print

Then it pauses for 2-5 minutes and the printer dialog box comes up.

I make my printer selections like page numbers etc and then I hit print.

Mail locks up and only Force Quit works.

I called Apple support and they were useless. They had me pull the power cord and do a keyboard thingy reset.

I still have the problem.

I asked them to do a little more research into the error and he pointed me to a community group message that says this:

Following some advice I found in an old post, I went into Mail preferences, and on the Viewing tab, unchecked "Load remote content in messages."

The error stops but half the email content doesn't print.

Anyone have another solution?

I'm growing frustrated with Apple Support as it seems like more often than NOT they can't fix my issues.

Thanks in advance.
