I find that I can connect to an ipv6 smb server on macOS using “smb://[****:****:****:...]” while I can not do that on my iPad and iPhone’s File APP. But the ipv4 is OK. I wonder how I can connect to a smb server via ipv6 on my iPad and iPhone.

iOS/iPadOS's Files application requires the file server to be running the latest version of the SMB (Samba) protocol. macOS still has legacy SMB support.

The exact Samba's version I use now is 4.9.5. I'm not sure whether it is "late" enough. However, as I mentioned above, I can connect via IPv4 from my iPad and iPhone while I cannot do such thing via IPv6. So I'm not sure if this is the point. I will try to update my Samba to 4.12. Thanks :)
