I use iTunes version 12.10.4.2 on Windows 10. How can I show a list of albums without showing the artwork? And can I show only the album names without displaying the contents?
I fairly certain this is the view that tt2 was referring to:
As you can see, it's the Songs View, with the Column Browser set to display only the Albums column. You cannot fully hide the track list underneath it, but you can drag the divider down until only about four lines of track names are displayed.
As tt2 says, it's probably as close as you will get to your ideal view.
In this view, if you select one album in the Albums list, only the songs from that album will be shown underneath.

You can use the Songs view with artwork turned off (View > Show View Options) to see a simple list of tracks without artwork. There isn't a way to make the main display show album titles only, but you can get a list of titles displayed in the Column Browser (View > Column Browser > Show Column Browser) which is, I think, as near as you can get.
