And a Quite Few More Thoughts:

Start By Updating your Apple TV:

  • Go Into: Settings > General and update your Apple TV. Perhaps there are bugs that need to be fixed by updates.

Verify IP Address:

  • Log into your router, and see if the Apple TV is seen. Are you connected to the internet with this? Verify your Apple TV Settings, and that an IP Address is shown.

Logout; Rid of Credentials; Bog Back in

  • If that is confirmed, then try logging out of the Apple ID and iCloud and the Network; rid of all credentials; log back in to all three.

Managing Network Connections:

  • Next, try the Apple TV on another network. Also, connect this hard wired into your modem/router.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device:

  • If so, and you still cannot see anything of a Library, take this back to the seller, and request a swapout. Just know that a swapout would be the seller’s call. Obsolete or not, take it back to the seller. It’s worth a go.

Reset your Apple TV:

  • As a last resort, reset your Apple TV.

My libraries are on 2014 MBP and 2015 iMac, iMac is my main library, both are on Mac OS Catalina ver 10.15.3,

Apple TV is Model A1842 tvOS 13.3.1. The Apple TV is hard wired from the router as the iMac, MBP is wireless. All on the same VLAN and subnet. Cable Modem through Apple Time Capsule wireless router is Apple Time Capsule. The Apple TV is used for primary TV, everything being streamed using Hulu or such. This issue would occasionally occur once a month and restarting the systems would correct the issue, but the last three nights took close to 35 minutes to get everything online.
