Issue with Apple Mail & Outlook on Catalina

Is there finally a solution to the issue to mail in Catalina upgrade? I am still not able to solve this issue or seen a solution for this. Is there a solution for the following message with Apple Mail;

"Mail cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn’t enough space in your home folder."

With this one cannot work with mail at all...now nearly 2 months...
