How do I stop Photos from constantly analyzing photos?

13” early 2015 MacBook Pro running MacOS Catalina 10.15.3


It’s hogging the CPU and runs so much at 70-90% CPU that the cooling fan turns on full blast. It is also apparently messing up Time Machine scheduling of backups

Thanks for the help. I reset the SMC. I had already used the Quit function in Activity Monitor, but the process would start up again after Mac restarts. I finally got a message in Photos that said it was done curating the photos. I deleted the photos in the People folder so maybe it won’t start face recognition processes again. Earlier, clearing that album only stopped the process temporarily. It would reload the faces into the people folder by itself.
