In the control center of my apple tv 4k my initials are displayed; how do I edit it to have my avatar displayed?

I would also suggest signing out of your iCloud account in ATV and sign back in

Finally the solution to my dilemma; I was signed-in to my apple and iCloud accounts; I signed-out and resigned-in using just one acct. Problem solved.

Change your Apple ID photo in Settings on iCloud.com - Apple Support
In Settings on iCloud.com, click the photo next to your name, then do any of the following.
Oh I see. Mine does. Perhaps try redoing it to see if it saves it. I don’t recall how mine ended up on there. I thought I did it on my iMessages once and after that it was everywhere. I can change it in settings on my iPad.
Unless you have more than one Apple ID?
I do have an avatar for my Apple ID on iCloud; but it will not appear in the apple 4k tv control center?

Mahalo for your suggestions, tried all as you suggested; still not resolved and I only have one Apple ID.
