I have a series 3 watch along with an iPhone 7 plus. I also have an iPad Pro 12.9".
So I have seen a blood sugar checker that fit the lightning port, do not know who makes it or anything.
I have also seen an ultrasound unit that connected to the lightning port. In this situation the iPad would probably be better due to the larger screen.
I was wondering if there was a list or catalog of health oriented hardware for Apple gear?

To the best of my knowledge, Apple doesn't put out a list of all the devices that connect to iOS devices. I'd suggest that, when you need a particular device, you do a basic search such as "blood pressure cuff Apple Healthkit" and go from there.

Yes, my scale is a Withings (prior to the Nokia sale), and my blood pressure monitor is also from them. But neither item has to be approved by the FDA.
That's not Apple-branded. It's Withings (which last I checked was owned by Nokia). I was just using BP cuff as an example. I don't know what you're looking for. My point was, there's no list. When you need or want something, you'll need to search for one that works with iOS.

The only glucometers I know of are Deacon and Libre. Libre was originally NFC only.
I have hunted far and wide which is why I thought maybe somebody here has some ideas?
I have a cable for HDMI so I can hook my phone up to a television
i figure more glucometers would be bluetooth friendly etc, but still slim pickings

I have often searched around for bluetooth and iOS oriented products. My scale is bluetooth and it can calculate weight and body fat etc.
I have been known to ask, what did the iPhone eat today (in terms of technology).

Thanks. I missed that. But, I still haven't found my scale from when I moved six months ago. It's in one of those boxes in the basement.....

I do not think a scale needs FDA approval. FCC maybe for the bluetooth.

It is probably with my AT&T cordless phone charger.
Yes, that is why I stated they do not require FDA approval in the post you quoted. Bluetooth just has to meet current specifications.
