Question: Is there a way to use Apple Health on my Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2?

Just made the switch from Samsung to Apple and I'm wondering if there is a way to use Apple Health on my Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2? I'd really love for my step count to match on the app and on my watch.

You need to use the Samsung Health App, and set it as a source of data for the Apple Health App.

See here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/samsung-health/id1224541484

and here: Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

No. You add the Samsung Health App as a source of Data in the Apple Health App, and it automatically adds the data to the Apple Health App.

Follow the steps in the "Add Information from other Apps" section in the link provided above.
