Where do I find the books stored in icloud?

Where do I find the books stored in icloud? I have icloud turned of for apple books in all my devices. Yet it occupies 3gb in my icloud. What could possibly be take up this much space?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13

Look in the Books app, and see what’s present in your library.

But if icloud is turned off my books, they shouldn't be occupying any storage space in the icloud?
