Spotify on Apple Watch.

I would like to be able to use the pull-up menu (swipe up on home screen) when I have music playing, but when I turn on my apple watch or look at it, Spotify just takes over the screen, closing it does not do anything as it just re opens and I cant easily get to do not disturb, silent mode, and other features in the menu from the home screen.

I know I can turn on a setting to make the apps not open when I start music from my phone, but that is not what I want, I just don't want them to be the first thing that pops up when I open my Apple watch.

Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch.

Tap Settings on the list of apps or in the grid view.

Tap General.

Tap Wake Screen.

Tap the switch next to Auto-Launch Audio Apps so it's in the gray "off" position.
