Apple TV remote alternates?

I find Apple's TV remote to be one of the worst remotes ever created. It looks cool, BUT who looks at a remote when using it.

Can one of the old ATV remotes work with the newer the current Apple TV?

Yes, the older remote will work just fine. Or, you can program a universal remote (e.g. Harmony) to work with it.

If you want one of the old Apple ones, I believe they're still available directly from Apple.
